Drifting is a fun and exciting sport. Also known as Formula D racing, it is a newly introduced and accepted sport in United States.  Though this new type of racing is already popular in other countries like Japan but it is still in the process of gaining popularity in the United States..  For that reason, there is a good chance that you may not even know what Formula D Racing is.  But if you know a bit of this sport, then probably you are craving to increase what you've learned. 

Most probably, the easiest way for you to be more acquainted to the sport is through web browsing- The Department of Motor Vehicles (see http://www.dmv.com) can give you this information.. Online, you will find a fairly large number of websites that offer information on Formula Drifting.  The task is simple, in finding sites on Formula-D racing, do the standard search - search engines.. During your internet search, you may want to use specific keywords like: Formula Drifing, drifting, or Formula-D.. I'm sure that the sites that you will be searching could give you a know-how on Formula-D racing. Since Formula D is a fairly popular sport, even though its popularity is fairly new in the United States, there are a large number of books on this sport.  These books, like the above mentioned online websites, may focus on Formula D Racing in general, give you tips on how to drift like the professionals, or the books might be committed to pro's in Formula-D racing.  So if your planning to have a hard copy resources on Formula-D, you can actually choose either you buy it online or at the bookstore nearest to you.
There are a lot of things that could hook you to Formula-D racing; one of these is to watch professional Drifting videos.  These videos may include instructional how-to videos or they may just contain clips of past races.  As with printed resources, such as a news prints, . You should be able to find them online, at a local media store, or you may even be able to rent them online or from your local video rental store.  There are Drifting videos that is in VHS format, but majority of it is in DVD

In addition to buying videos and books, watching TV programs is a good combination to it. Formula D Racing has partnered with G4TV.  Formula-D racing events are aired on this television network, . By checking your local listing, you should be able to determine when Formula D programming will be on. If you have access to the G4 network, these shows are a great way to go about familiarizing yourself with the sport.

As previously mentioned, you must have access to G4 to view programs of Formula D Racing.  If you do not have access to that popular television channel, you do have an alternative.  iTunes, G4, and Formula-D racing have collaborated to build a Formula Drifting podcasts. These podcasts currently demo clippings of popular drifting nip and tuck occasions, as well as off-stage viewing of the drivers, as well as the cars. What makes this an opportunity is that these podcasts are free to view and the iTunes program, needed to view the podcasts, is also free to download.
